Patient wanted a more permanent lip Augmentation to achieve plump, attractive and yet natural appearing lips. A 5mm upper and lower lip permalip implant was placed to enhance lip volume. This procedure is performed in office under local anesthesia with minimal downtime. Patient’s choose lip implants in order to avoid having repeat lip injections every few months which can be both time consuming and over the years more costly than a permanent lip implant. Patient’s are often concerned that the implant will be visible to the eye or give the lips a "sausage" shape, but in expert surgical hands this should never be the case.
