Dr. Jessica Kulak is a fellowship trained facial plastic surgeon at The Naderi Center, practicing in Chevy Chase, Maryland and Northern Virginia. Dr. Kulak is an “aging face specialist” with a practice dedicated almost exclusively to rejuvenation of the aging face through a variety of surgical and minimally invasive techniques.
Dr. Jessica Kulak completed an intensive fellowship program accredited by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She is also board certified in plastic surgery of the head and neck by the prestigious American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) and the ABOTO in Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Kulak’s highly specialized practice focuses on facial rejuvenation surgeries such as facelifts, neck lifts, browlifts, eyelid surgery, fat transfer, and skin cancer reconstruction. She also regularly performs non-invasive facial rejuvenation procedures, including injectables, chemical peels, and laser treatments.
Dr. Kulak is dedicated to understanding her patient’s concerns and individualizing care to help achieve natural and long lasting results. Above all, what distinguishes Dr. Kulak is her specialization, focusing purely on the face and neck and especially rejuvenation of the aging face.
Dr. Kulak completed her facial plastic surgery training with Dr. Devinder S. Mangat, nationally renowned past President of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Prior to her specialty training, she completed five-years of surgical training in Head and Neck Surgery at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, in Miami, Florida.
After graduating Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutritional Sciences, Dr. Kulak received her medical degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. In medical school, Dr. Kulak was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, a selective honorary society recognizing academic excellence, demonstrated professionalism, and leadership. She was also an annual recipient of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Trustee Scholarship for Academic Merit.
Throughout her medical career, Dr. Kulak has been committed to research and academics, including head and neck cancer research funded, in part, by an institutional research grant she received from the American Cancer Society. She developed and conducted an IRB-approved clinical trial on non-ablative laser treatment of scars. In addition to presenting research at national meetings, Dr. Kulak has given many Grand Round lectures on various facial plastic surgery topics. She has also co-authored a chapter on chemical peels in a prestigious medical textbook. Dr. Kulak believes strongly in giving back to under-served populations and participated in medical mission trips to Haiti and Belize.
