As another way to interact with patients, Dr. Jessica Kulak enjoys social media and has many followers on Instagram and other platforms. She regularly shares about hot topics like Kris Jenner having an ear pinning procedure. Dr. Kulak shared in NewBeauty Magazine:
“Both otoplasty [ear pinning] and lobuloplasty [earlobe reduction like Jenner had] are common in my practice. Otoplasty is usually done under sedation, and patients will typically take a week off from work, while lobuloplasty is done awake with local anesthesia in the office. It usually takes around 30 -40 minutes for both sides, and you can go back to work the next day with sutures coming out at a week,” she says. “Lobuloplasty is also great for earring pull-through injuries or if the earring hole is enlarged from gages or stretched from large earrings that pull down the hole. You can re-pierce the ear at around four weeks.”
Some patients specifically request a female plastic surgeon when they decide to get cosmetic surgery. The Naderi Center wants each patient to select a physician who makes them feel the most comfortable and safe.
It is always essential to research a plastic surgeon’s background and experience before electing to undergo plastic surgery. Preferring a female surgeon is a personal choice that is respected by the Naderi Center surgical team. Some of the advantages of choosing an experienced female plastic surgeon at The Naderi Center in Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland include:
Some women suffer from low self-esteem, body insecurities, embarrassment, and social pressure based on their physical appearance. These women often feel more confident with a female surgeon who can relate to these insecurities. Plastic surgeon Dr. Jessica Kulak, MD has extensive experience successfully helping women address personal body issues with care and empathy.
Male or female patients may feel more comfortable with a female plastic surgeon because women are often better communicators. Some female patients at the Naderi Center request a female plastic surgeon because they feel more confident talking about their female-specific body concerns. They may feel more comfortable asking personal questions and discussing sensitive issues. Each patient must communicate openly with their plastic surgeon, and some patients find that a female plastic surgeon helps put them at ease.
