Lip Injections
Question: I have fine lines above my lip. What's a good filler for this area? Answer: I like Juvederm Ultra for fine lines above the lips. Botox or Dysport can also help. Retin-A and Lasers are also possible options depending on your skin color and ethnicity.
Question: I have some fine lines above my lips and would like to know what the best fillers are for this. Answer: Both Restylane and Juvederm ultra can do a nice job with reducing upper lip lines. Occasionally Botox or Dysport can also be used to reduce upper lip wrinkles.
Answer: Your lips may be mildly sore for a few days after injection of Restylane into your lips. I have never had anyone complain of that though.
Question:I am male and have very thin lips. I would like Perlane to fill in the lips somewhat, but definitely not overfill. The pouty look is not what I am after. Is Perlane safer than collagen injections? Answer: For male cosmetic surgery the key is moderation and staying natural and conservative. While some men, especially in the transgender community but even in the gay community, do like feminized features, most men prefer a masculine look. Perlane, Restylane, Juvederm and Collagen are all fine. I would say Restylane is the best choice for men’s lip augmentation. The key is not to inject the vermillion border otherwise a pouty look is created.
