Lip Fillers
Question: I have fine lines above my lip. What's a good filler for this area? Answer: I like Juvederm Ultra for fine lines above the lips. Botox or Dysport can also help. Retin-A and Lasers are also possible options depending on your skin color and ethnicity.
Question: I have some fine lines above my lips and would like to know what the best fillers are for this. Answer: Both Restylane and Juvederm ultra can do a nice job with reducing upper lip lines. Occasionally Botox or Dysport can also be used to reduce upper lip wrinkles.
Question: I would like to get injectable fillers in my face. I would like to plump up both my lips and my nasolabial folds which have gotten quite pronounced. I would like hyaluronic acid because the reports that I read indicate it is longer lasting than collagen. Is hyaluronic acid appropriate for both areas? Answer:
Hyaluronic acids are usually the safest fillers for the lips relative to Radiesse and Collagen and Artefill which are all available in the US. As such, Hyaluronic acids like Restylane and Juvederm Ultra are best for the lips.
