Question: How often do fillers need to be replaced? Answer:
Depends on the filler as well as the location being filled. For example, Restylane lasts much longer in the tear troughs under the eyes to improve dark circles than it does in the lips for lip augmentation. Radiesse lasts longer than Juvederm but it does not belong in the lips as it can cause lumps and scars. Question: I'm interested in getting injectable fillers in my cheeks. It seems like this is mostly done for aging reasons, but I'm 24 and just want more pronounced cheekbones without getting surgery. Would fillers be good for me? Answer: I do liquid cheek augmentation for both men and women. Men need the fillers in a lower area of their cheeks to add volume but NOT create high feminine cheek bones. I also do lots of liquid cheek lifts in young girls as well as older women. Is there any one filler that's considered the best for treating facial lines? Question: I'm 55 and the corners of my mouth have begun to droop. Can this be improved with a facelift? Answer:
Corners of the mouth should not be improved with facelift alone otherwise your mouth will look "plastic" or "fake" or "done." Think about Joan Rivers. That's not a good look. You may need Botox at the corner of your mouth to the DAO muscle or fillers to the marionette area and/or a facelift.
