The Procedure
What a Deep Plane Facelift Does
As the face ages, the deeper tissues that hold the cheeks, jawline and neck in place loosen and slide down. A deep plane facelift releases and lifts that deeper layer as one unit, then lays the skin back over it without tension. Because the lift comes from underneath, the result looks natural and holds up; a deep plane facelift typically lasts 10 years or more.
Dr. Naderi plans each operation around the patient’s facial structure, neck, skin and pattern of aging, an approach he calls The Naderi Architectural Lift™. Many patients pair it with a neck lift, eyelid surgery or fat injections in the same operation.

Your Facelift, Step by Step
Consultation
Meet Dr. Naderi in Chevy Chase or Reston, or start virtually. He examines your face and neck, talks through what you want to change and tells you honestly what surgery can and cannot do. The consultation fee goes toward the cost of surgery.
Surgery day
About 4 hours under general anesthesia at Prince William Surgery Center in Virginia, where Dr. Naderi has been medical director since 2023. Most patients go home the same day with a responsible adult, and drains are not usually needed.
The first two weeks
Dressings come off the day after surgery and most sutures come out in the first week. Most patients are back to work and social plans after about two weeks.
One month and beyond
Exercise resumes after one month. Swelling, firmness and numbness keep fading for several months, and follow-up visits are typically at 1 week, 1 month and 3 months.

Where is the surgery performed?
Dr. Naderi performs facelifts in the operating room at Prince William Surgery Center in Virginia, under general anesthesia given by board-certified anesthesiologists who supervise nurse anesthetists. He has been the center’s medical director since 2023.
How much does a deep plane facelift cost?
A deep plane facelift at The Naderi Center ranges from $35,000 to $70,000, including Dr. Naderi’s fee, anesthesia and the surgical facility. Your exact quote follows your consultation, and financing through Cherry is available for qualifying patients.
How long is the recovery?
Most patients are back to work and social plans after about two weeks and back to exercise after one month. Swelling, firmness and numbness keep improving for several months.
How long does a deep plane facelift last?
Typically 10 years or more. Your face keeps aging, but it stays ahead of where it would have been. Staying out of the sun, not smoking, good medical-grade skin care and non-invasive follow-up treatments help results last longer.
