A daily antioxidant and barrier-support serum from ZO Skin Health. You use it morning and evening after cleansing, exfoliating and toning, apply 1 to 2 pumps to the face, neck and chest, and finish with sunscreen in the morning. It does not contain retinol.

What Does Daily Power Defense Do?

Does ZO Daily Power Defense contain retinol?
No. Daily Power Defense is an antioxidant and barrier-support serum, not a retinol. If you want a retinol, we can recommend the right one within the ZO line for your skin.
Is Daily Power Defense a serum or a moisturizer?
It is a serum. It has ingredients that support hydration and the skin barrier, but it is designed as a daily defense serum, and you can layer a moisturizer over it if your skin needs more hydration.
Can I use Daily Power Defense at night?
Yes. It is made for both morning and evening use. At night, apply it after cleansing, exfoliating and toning, before any moisturizer.
Do I apply Daily Power Defense or Growth Factor Serum first?
Daily Power Defense goes first. Growth Factor Serum is applied after it, as the last treatment step, and sunscreen goes on last in the morning.
Why can’t I find Daily Power Defense on Amazon?
ZO sells Daily Power Defense only through its network of clinical professionals and its own official website. ZO warns that products from unauthorized sellers may be diluted, heat damaged, expired or counterfeit.
