Microneedling at our Chevy Chase office is performed by Dr. Alexandra Snodgrass, our board-certified dermatologist, together with platelet-rich plasma (PRP). The office is in the Barlow Building at 5454 Wisconsin Avenue, one block from the Friendship Heights Metro. Dr. Snodgrass uses the Collagen P.I.N., an FDA-cleared microneedling device, to treat acne scars, enlarged pores, fine lines, rough texture and stretch marks.

How Many Microneedling Sessions Will I Need?

Plan on a series. Most patients need 4 to 6 sessions, each 4 to 6 weeks apart, followed by one maintenance session every 4 months. Acne scars and stretch marks respond best to the full series, while patients treating dullness or rough texture often notice a change sooner. Your provider will set your plan at your first visit in Chevy Chase.
