At the DC Line
One Block from Friendship Heights Metro
Our Chevy Chase office is in the Barlow Building at 5454 Wisconsin Avenue, at the northern edge of the District and one block from the Friendship Heights station on the Red Line. From Georgetown and Tenleytown it is a straight trip up Wisconsin Avenue, and Red Line riders from Dupont Circle, Woodley Park and Cleveland Park come straight up the line.
Lip filler is done at the same visit as your consultation when you are ready, so a lunch break can be enough. Plan about 20 to 30 minutes for numbing cream and usually about 5 minutes for the injections.

Why DC Patients Choose The Naderi Center
Lips That Look Like Yours, Only Fuller
Only physicians inject
Every lip treatment is performed by Dr. Shervin Naderi, a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon, or Dr. Alexandra Snodgrass, a board-certified dermatologist. The Naderi Center has been injecting lips for more than 20 years.
Built in stages, never overfilled
Thin lips can only stretch so far in one visit. We add filler in small micro-droplets and build fuller lips over a few visits, so they stay soft and keep a crisp border.
Honest advice on every option
As a facial plastic surgeon, Dr. Naderi also performs lip lifts and fat injections, so you hear plainly when filler is the right answer and when something else will do more.
Corrections done here
Lips that were overfilled or uneven elsewhere can often be dissolved with hyaluronidase and then rebuilt with a better shape.
Our Approach
Why Filler Looks “Migrated”, and How We Avoid It
When more filler goes into a lip than it can hold, it spills over the border into the skin above the lip. The edge of the lip blurs and the area above it looks puffy. People call that migration. Dr. Naderi calls it spillover, and building lips gradually prevents it.
“You can’t make thin lips go full in one shot. That’s just not going to happen,” Dr. Naderi explains. Your physician examines your lips first, leaves areas that are already full alone, and places tiny droplets of filler along the border and in the body of the lip. Numbing cream and a slow, gentle technique keep it comfortable for most people, without a dental block.
We use Restylane Kysse, RHA Redensity, RHA 2 and Juvederm Ultra XC and Volbella XC, and your physician chooses the filler for your lips and your goal.

What to Expect at Your Appointment
Your lip exam
Meet your physician at our Chevy Chase office. We look at your lips from the front, side and in a smile and agree on a plan, including which filler and how much.
Numbing
Numbing cream goes on for about 20 to 30 minutes. The fillers also contain lidocaine, so the lips get more comfortable as the treatment goes on.
Micro-droplet injections
The injections usually take about 5 minutes. You see your new shape before you leave, and most people go back to work the same day.
Two weeks later
Swelling peaks the next morning and mostly settles in about a week. At two weeks you see your result, and that is the time to add more if you want it.
