3D Miracle Laser Before and Aftercare Instructions

What You Will Need

• A gentle cleanser.
• Plated® Skin Science exosome product.
• A gentle moisturizer.
• Large hat or sun visor. Sun protection is an absolute must after laser.
• An antiviral prescription, only if you have a history of cold sores.

Before Your Treatment

• Your medications. Let us know all the medications and supplements you take, so we can make sure none interfere with your treatment.
• 1 week before: skincare products. Stop all retinoids (Retin-A, tretinoin, retinol, and others), alpha-hydroxy acids (glycolic acid), beta-hydroxy acids (salicylic acid), benzoyl peroxide, and any other similar or exfoliating products that may be drying or irritating.
• 1 week before: hair removal. Avoid electrolysis, waxing, and hair removal creams in the area to be treated, to avoid irritation.
• 3 days before: antiviral, if you have a history of cold sores. Start your antiviral 3 days before your treatment, and take it as prescribed.

Day of Treatment

• Arrive 1 hour early so we can apply numbing cream.
• Wash your face before you come in, and do not apply anything afterward: no lotion, sunscreen, or makeup.
• Driving. You typically do not need Valium, and you can usually drive yourself home.
• After your treatment, leave your skin completely alone: no washing and no skincare products, except Alastin Regenerating Skin Nectar.

After Your Treatment

• The next 3–4 days. Use a gentle cleanser, then your Plated® Skin Science exosome product, then a gentle moisturizer. Keep the routine this minimal so your skin can heal.
• Makeup is fine after 24 hours.
• Back to your normal skincare gradually, 5–7 days after treatment, depending on how your skin is healing.
• Sun avoidance, strictly for 3 months. Direct sun can burn the skin and cause dark spots. If you must go outside, wear a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses and stay in the shade. Sunscreen is not a substitute for sun avoidance!
• Your next treatment. 3D Miracle is usually a series of 3 to 6 treatments; we will schedule the next one with you.
