  1. A smile does not make us look better because the corners of the mouth go up; it is because the mid-face fills up.

  3. Injecting up high without volume in the mid-face can make someone look more skeletonized and hollow.

Why do mid-face injections make us look better? Cheek injections, basically. Why does it make us look better? Look, not smiling. Smiling. Not smiling. Smiling. Why does smiling make us look better? It's not because the corner of the mouth goes up. I mean, a joker has that. It doesn't make them look any better. It's because this part of the mid-face fills up.

I'm not talking about the cheekbone. We're talking about this area. When this area fills up, it just looks healthier, or rested, more youthful. It's just a better look. So to the human eye, when you see somebody with that type of fullness, immediately they look more vibrant, more healthy, more youthful. And that's what we try to replicate with fillers.

Now, a lot of injectors start injecting up here. If you don't have volume here and you go up here, you're going to start looking more skeletonized, more hollow. That doesn't look good. This is where the youth is. This creates sexiness.
