For a first-time patient with minimal movement and one early forehead line, Dr. Alexandra Snodgrass uses tiny drops to keep lines that form with movement from becoming visible at rest. She adds a small brow lift by staying high on the forehead so the frontalis can still lift the brows.

So today I have a patient who's interested in more of a preventative Botox, or you could also call this baby Botox. She does have one line that she's concerned with on her forehead, but mostly she has very minimal movement, and we're just doing this from a preventative aspect. We're also going to try to get a little bit of a brow lift.
So I'm going to have you frown for me. Relax. So because she does make lines when she moves, big pinch, this is going to be effective in preventing those lines from becoming more prominent or present at rest. So we're doing the corrugators, little drops to both the head and the tail of the muscle. How are you feeling so far? Good. This is also her first time getting Botox, and she's doing amazing.
Now raise your eyebrows for me. Perfect. So she does sometimes have a little line that forms in the center of the forehead that we're getting rid of today. And then again, just tiny, tiny little drops, going pretty superficial. Everything's going perfectly. Amazing. And she wants a little bit of a brow lift, so I'm going to stay a little bit more medial with my lateral injections, and then stay super high so we allow the frontalis to still lift the brow. And then I love this little injection for brow lifts, just a tiny drop to the tail, which helps give a slight lift in the middle of the brow.
