This beautiful female patient initially sought a nonsurgical rhinoplasty, but after an in-depth consultation and computer imaging with Dr. Naderi, it became clear that a surgical approach would better achieve her goals. While filler could temporarily enhance her dorsum, her petite frame and feminine facial features called for a more delicate and permanent solution—specifically, surgical refinement of the nasal tip to provide better projection, rotation, and overall balance.

Dr. Naderi identified several structural concerns, including a droopy, under-projected tip, moderately thick sebaceous skin, and a moderate septal deviation to the left. A nonsurgical approach would have involved adding volume to the dorsum—an option more suitable for taller patients or those with stronger facial features. In her case, subtle yet precise surgical changes would result in a more proportionate, natural, and elegant nasal contour.

The surgical plan included osteotomies to narrow the nasal bones and bring the nose into better alignment, along with advanced tip work using septal extension grafting and strut grafting for lasting support and definition. The goal was to gently rotate and project the tip to complement her facial features, while preserving the natural starting point of her radix, which was well-suited to her profile. Postoperative taping was emphasized, especially given her skin type, to help guide healing and optimize long-term results.
