UltraClear™ in Virginia, Washington D.C. and Maryland.
At The Naderi Center for Plastic Surgery and Dermatology, we are proud to introduce the UltraClear™ Cold Fiber Laser, the most advanced skin rejuvenation technology on the market. This FDA-cleared, non-invasive laser treatment is revolutionizing the way we approach skin resurfacing, offering powerful anti-aging and skin-correcting benefits with minimal discomfort and far less downtime than traditional laser resurfacing.
If you’re looking for a laser skin treatment, UltraClear™ is your answer – it yields smoother, brighter, tighter, and younger-looking skin. This system acts without the usual dangers or the long recovery time that older laser systems caused.
Key Benefits of UltraClear™ Laser Treatment
UltraClear™ is ideal for patients seeking dramatic results with fast healing. Benefits include:
Minimal Downtime
The depth of a treatment changes how a patient looks. Patients with shallow treatment have redness or flaking for only two or three days. A deeper, more forceful treatment means that most patients heal in less than ten days.
Safe for All Skin Types
Thanks to cold fiber technology, there's reduced risk of hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation in Asian and darker skin tones.
Visible Results After One Session
Noticeably smoother and brighter skin even after a single treatment. Repeat treatments (3) dramatically improve results.

Other Benefits
- Customizable Depths: Adjustable settings target the epidermis and dermis with precision.
- Minimally-Invasive & Non-Surgical: No needles, no general anesthesia, and no extended recovery required.
- Collagen Stimulation: The treatment causes natural healing; it prompts collagen to grow for six months. This tightens and firms skin for a long time.

What Is UltraClear™ Cold Fiber Laser Technology?
UltraClear™ is the world’s first and only cold fiber fractional laser. Unlike traditional ablative lasers that rely on heat and can cause extensive redness, peeling, and downtime, UltraClear™ uses a patented cold ablative 2910nm wavelength technology. This advanced approach resurfaces the skin while minimizing inflammation and preserving the surrounding tissue, making it one of the safest options for all skin types, including Fitzpatrick IV-VI. We can now tune the treatments to each individual’s needs and go as light or as aggressive as needed. Never before has there been a good solution for more ethnic type or patients with pigmented skin. Until now, most Asian, Middle Eastern, Indian, Hispanic or Black patients had to settle for extremely superficial treatments that showed no results or benefit. UltraClear laser is a game changer for patients with dark skin as well as fair skin.
How does it work?
It combines cold fractional ablation, deep dermal stimulation, and customizable energy levels, allowing for tailored treatment plans that address a wide range of skin concerns—from fine lines and wrinkles to acne scars, hyperpigmentation, and textural irregularities. Unlike many generic lasers brought to the U.S. and labeled as “new,” the UltraClear was designed and manufactured from the ground up by one of the true geniuses of the industry, Shlomo Assa. Mr. Assa dedicated his entire professional life to design and creation of some of the world’s most famous lasers including PICO and CO2 and spent decades at the top of very well known laser companies. UltraClear is not “just another laser.”
What Skin Concerns Does UltraClear™ Treat?
UltraClear™ is one of the most versatile aesthetic laser treatments available today. It can dramatically improve:
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Sun damage and photoaging
- Melasma* and other types of hyperpigmentation
- Enlarged pores
- Rough or uneven skin texture
- Dull, lifeless complexion
- Acne scarring and other types of scars
- Loose skin and loss of elasticity

Treatment areas include:
- Full face
- Neck
- Chest (décolletage)
- Hands
- Back and shoulders
- Around the eyes and mouth
*Melasma is a chronic skin condition that may recur and needs other skincare and lifestyle changes
Why Choose UltraClear™ Over CO2 Laser or Other Erbium Lasers?
While CO2 lasers and typical Erbium lasers have long been the gold standards in laser resurfacing, they come with significant drawbacks—primarily heat damage, prolonged downtime, and a higher risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH).
UltraClear™ reduces these concerns by delivering cold laser energy to remove damaged skin with minimal thermal injury. Patients get the results of a traditional resurfacing laser with much lower risk and downtime. Most CO2 Lasers while effective can only be used on pale colored skin and come with up to 3 months of redness and 7-14 days of significant recovery as well as higher risk for side effects.
Preparing for Morpheus8
Good preparation secures favorable results and an easy recovery. Here’s how to get ready for your UltraClear treatment session at The Naderi Center:
Avoid sun exposure
Stay out of direct sunlight and tanning beds for at least 2 weeks prior to treatment. Sun-damaged or tanned skin increases the risk of complications.
Discontinue certain skincare products
Stop using retinoids (Retin-A, tretinoin), glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and other exfoliating or irritating ingredients 5–7 days before treatment.
Inform your provider
- If you have a history of cold sores (herpes simplex virus), let us know. We will prescribe an antiviral medication to prevent an outbreak.
- Share any recent procedures (injectables, chemical peels, microneedling, etc.) or medications you’re taking.
Hydrate your skin
Moisturized skin works better with laser treatments. Apply a mild, inactive moisturizer in the days before your session.
Avoid alcohol and smoking
Both can impair skin healing. Try to limit or avoid for at least 24–48 hours before and after treatment.
Schedule wisely
For a deeper treatment, you may want to plan for a few days of social downtime. Many patients choose to work from home, or they avoid large events for up to a week after an aggressive session.

Recovery after the Morpheus 8 Procedure
Treatment Time: 15–30 minutes depending on the area treated.
Comfort: Most patients find UltraClear™ treatments very tolerable. A topical numbing cream may be used for deeper treatments.
Aftercare
Mild redness is normal
Expect mild redness similar to a sunburn for 24–48 hours.
Flaking or dryness may occur
Minor flaking or dryness may occur over the next few days.
Longer downtime with deeper treatments
Deeper more aggressive treatments will have up to 7-10 days of social downtime on average. For most people that means working from home or avoiding parties and social events during that period. Deeper treatments will have more redness, more oozing, more flaking in the first 5-6 days.
Mild pain medication may be needed
Some patients may need some mild pain medications in the first few days
Avoid sun exposure
Sun avoidance is crucial during the healing process to prevent complications.
Be gentle with your skin
Do not pick at or wipe the skin aggressively in the first week or so.
Use only recommended skincare products
No harsh cleansers or topical skin creams. We will recommend proper gentle cleansers and post laser skin products to speed up healing.
Prevent cold sore outbreaks
Patients with a history of cold sores will need antiviral medications while healing.
Results Timeline
Immediate
Skin feels gritty and coarse as it heals.
Short-term

Long-term

Frequently Asked Questions about UltraClear™ Laser Treatment
What are the typical results post an UltraClear Laser procedure for addressing fine lines and wrinkles?
Most patients see smoother, firmer skin with visibly softened fine lines and wrinkles after just one session. Collagen stimulation continues for months, so skin keeps improving over time. A series of treatments provides more dramatic and lasting rejuvenation.
What are the expected outcomes following an UltraClear Laser treatment for acne?
UltraClear™ can significantly reduce active acne and improve post-acne scarring. The laser’s precision targets inflammation and bacteria while resurfacing acne-prone skin. Over time, texture becomes more refined, and breakouts may decrease with ongoing care.
Does UltraClear treatment cause pain?
Most patients feel minimal discomfort; they describe it as a mild tingle or a quick snap. When a person needs a deeper treatment, a topical numbing cream is applied to the skin before the procedure. This keeps the patient comfortable during the process.
Does UltraClear have any downtime?
Downtime is minimal, especially for lighter treatments. You may experience mild redness or flaking for 1–3 days. More aggressive sessions can require 5–10 days of social downtime due to redness, peeling, or sensitivity, but most patients can resume daily routines quickly with proper aftercare.
