Why Maryland Patients Choose Dr. Naderi
A Surgeon Focused on the Nose
More than 20 years of rhinoplasty
Dr. Naderi has spent more than 20 years with a strong surgical focus on rhinoplasty, including a high volume of ethnic rhinoplasty. Many patients come to him for revision rhinoplasty because of that experience.
Recognized four years running
Newsweek has named him one of America’s Best Plastic Surgeons for rhinoplasty in 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026. Washingtonian has selected him as a Top Doctor year after year, and the practice has been recognized in Best of Bethesda.
Trained for form and function
He is board certified in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery and in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, which includes the nose and airway, and he is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
A teacher of other surgeons
He has written textbook chapters on rhinoplasty and served as an oral board examiner for the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
His Approach
No Two Noses Are the Same
Every nose is unique, and there is no cookie-cutter nose at The Naderi Center. Each plan is built around your anatomy, your goals and your stature, so the result fits your face and still looks like you.
At your consultation Dr. Naderi uses computer imaging to show the direction he would take. Imaging is not a guarantee of the outcome; it is the road map he follows in the operating room. You are welcome to bring your own photos of what you like and what you do not.
Rhinoplasty can address:
- The bridge, such as a hump seen in profile.
- The tip, when it droops, looks wide or needs refining.
- A crooked nose, straightened so it sits in balance with the face.
- Breathing, when a deviated septum is part of the problem, treated in the same operation with septoplasty.
Dr. Naderi will also tell you when surgery is not in your best interest. With younger patients he looks closely at whether the decision is truly their own, and he sometimes asks them to come back in a year or two.

Consultation in Chevy Chase
Meet Dr. Naderi on Wisconsin Avenue, or start with a virtual consultation. He examines your nose, listens to what you want and shows you his plan with imaging. Your pre-op visit is here too.
Surgery day
About 2 hours under general anesthesia at Prince William Surgery Center in Virginia, given by board-certified anesthesiologists who supervise nurse anesthetists. Most patients go home the same day with a responsible adult. If you need it, we can arrange a car to and from the surgery center.
The first week
A small cast stays on your nose, and Dr. Naderi removes it 5 to 10 days after surgery. Plan on taking a week off work.
One month and beyond
Exercise resumes after one month. Most of the change shows in the first year, subtle refinement continues for 3 to 5 years, and your follow-up visits are scheduled in Chevy Chase.

Questions
Rhinoplasty Questions from Maryland Patients
Is your office in Bethesda?
Our Maryland office is in Chevy Chase, at 5454 Wisconsin Avenue in the Barlow Building, about a mile and a half south of downtown Bethesda and one block from the Friendship Heights Metro. We also see patients in Reston, Virginia, and virtually.
Do I have to go to Virginia for my rhinoplasty?
For most Maryland patients, only for surgery day. Your consultation, pre-op visit and follow-up visits are scheduled at our Chevy Chase office. Surgery is at Prince William Surgery Center in Virginia, where Dr. Naderi operates under general anesthesia given by board-certified anesthesiologists, and we can arrange a car to and from the center if you need it.
How much does rhinoplasty cost?
Primary rhinoplasty is $18,000 to $27,000, and revision rhinoplasty starts at $45,000, including Dr. Naderi’s fee, anesthesia and the surgical facility. Cherry financing is available for qualifying patients.
How much time off will I need?
Plan on a week off work. Your cast stays on for 5 to 10 days, and you can return to exercise after one month.
How old do you have to be for rhinoplasty?
The minimum age is 14. What matters most is the patient’s own mindset, so Dr. Naderi makes sure the decision is truly theirs and sometimes asks a younger patient to come back in a year or two.
Can you fix a nose that was operated on before?
Yes. Many patients come to Dr. Naderi for revision rhinoplasty. Patients wait one year after their last nose surgery, and revisions often use cartilage from the septum or rib.
Can I see what my new nose might look like?
Yes. Dr. Naderi uses computer imaging at your consultation to show the direction he would take. It is a road map for surgery, not a guarantee of the outcome.
