I’ve heard weak or broad cartilages are common in Hispanic noses, particularly in the nasal tip. How are these improved?
Yes absolutely. Removal of more cartilage in most of these cases will not result in refinement or definition. The Hispanic patient as well as the Asian and the African American patient usually requires addition of cartilage to the nose for support and for definition in order to be able to shape the skin from underneath and give it a more refined look. Natural Cartilage Grafts are what I use for such cases.
