Dr Naderi
I talked to my ear nose and throat doctor the other day and he told me that when I had my semtoplasty surgery that I would have packing but the splint would have a hose that would alow me to breathe through my nose. Is this true how much air will get through and would it get clogged up after a while?
Thanks for your Help
Answer:
There are Doyle splints that have a small tube inside and allow some air flow. The problem is that they are much larger due to the fact that they have the tube in the middle so although you get some airflow, having them in and having them removed are VERY painful.
