Question: I have a saddleback nose that I would like fixed. I am currently on quite a few medications and vitamin and mineral supplements. Are there any medications that I need to stop taking before the procedure?
Answer: A Saddle Nose deformity is when the nose bridge is concave. Correction involves a rhinoplasty to augment the dorsum or bridge. Medication or vitamins or supplements that thin the blood and cause excess bleeding need to be stopped at least 2 weeks prior to surgery.
