I recently heard rumor that Angelina Jolie had a facelift. I think she’s just in her 30s. Do people ever have facelifts at this early of an age?
Answer:
Every person ages in different ways and at a different pace. While most patients tend to be older, it is not uncommon for people in their 30’s to start to see some neck laxity and early jowl formation. A facelift mainly improves age related changes in the lower face, by sharpening the angle of the neck and smoothing the jawline. Sometimes for patients that are younger, a “mini-facelift” or a short scar facelift (S-lift) can be performed for rejuvenation of the lower face.
