Is it reasonable to expect to look 10 years younger after getting a full facelift?
Answer:
It is very common for patients to say that they look around 10 years younger after a facelift, especially if the majority of their age-related changes are in their lower face and neck. However, the amount of change that is made with facelift also depends on your starting point. A facelift addresses jowls and smoothes the jawline. Excess skin and tissue in the neck will also be tightened after a facelift procedure, giving a sharper more youthful angle to the neck. In some patients, a facelift can be combined with other adjunctive procedures to give a more dramatic change, such as a skin resurfacing procedure, volume restoration with fat or fillers, or eyelid and brow surgery.
