Question: I really don’t want to get a facelift yet. I am only 46 years old. But I do have some areas of concern on my face and I would like some non-surgical alternatives to repair them. For example, my skin has lost some of its elasticity and there is some sagging at my lower cheeks. Are there injectables that can be used as temporary stop-gap measures?
Answer: Absolutely. 15 years ago all we had was plastic surgery and people ended up looking pulled and tight and hollowed. Luckily now we know that youth is about volume and adding volume in form of fat or dermal fillers, such as Perlane, rejuvenate the face and cheeks and eyelids nicely and improve the appearance without surgery.
