Question: What’s a general price range for Botox to treat horizontal lines on the forehead?
Answer: I do not like to paralyze the forehead completely as that paralyzes the frontalis muscle that is responsible for lifting your eyebrows. If you knock out the forehead Frontalis Muscle completely then your eyebrows will drop and will feel very heavy. As such, most patients only need about 10 units to the forehead which usually equals $150. However, to inject the forehead but not between the eyebrows is often not wise. The muscles between the eyebrows are some of the muscles that pull down the eyebrows. So the best treatment option is to relax both the elevator and the depressor muscles of the eyebrow by injecting the forehead and between the eyebrows. That increases the necessary dose to about 30 units or $450.
