How permanent is blepharoplasty, and how long before I need another one?
Answer:
Blepharoplasty or eyelid lift removes excess skin and fat from the eyelid area. Typically the results from this procedure will last greater than 10 years and rarely is an eyelid lift needed more than once. More commonly, as we continue to age, there is descent of the brows which can look like excess skin, but is actually brow ptosis. A brow lift or forehead lift can be performed to reposition the brow and correct the appearance of redundant eyelid tissue and rejuvenate the upper face.
