Question: I had a nose job two years ago. It was to repair a broken nose I had as a child. It looks good except that the bridge is too wide. I didn’t think it was too wide at first but now it seems so. Is a full rhinoplasty required to narrow the bridge?
Answer: Rhinoplasty is simply the surgery to change the nose. I don’t like thinking of rhinoplasty as full or partial. Anytime you change the nose, it’s a rhinoplasty. However, to simply narrow the bridge all you may need may be osteotomies which can be done closed and not require changes to the tip, etc.
