Question: I’ve heard that the nasal tip often looks upturned after rhinoplasty. However, my tip looks lower since my surgery and I don’t like it. Is this something that might improve or will I need a revision? If I need a revision, how is the tip lifted?
Answer: Many plastic surgeons actually lift the nose tip too much routinely and create too much nostril show after rhinoplasty. The tip position can be left alone overall or it can be lifted (if too low and droopy) or brought down (if too high and overly upturned).
