Question: I’ve been having Botox injections for several years now. Is there a limit as to how many injections one can safely have? I’m just wondering if I will face any special risks after having these injections for so long.
Answer: There are guidelines for safe doses of Botox but typical cosmetic uses of Botox 3 or 4 times a year keep you well below any dangerous levels. However, Botox or Dysport is a serious medical drug with risks and as such you should see a Board certified facial plastic surgeon, plastic surgeon or dermatologist for the diagnosis and treatments using Botox Cosmetic.
