Question: I would like to get injectable fillers in my face. I would like to plump up both my lips and my nasolabial folds which have gotten quite pronounced. I would like hyaluronic acid because the reports that I read indicate it is longer lasting than collagen. Is hyaluronic acid appropriate for both areas?
Answer: Hyaluronic acids are usually the safest fillers for the lips relative to Radiesse and Collagen and Artefill which are all available in the US. As such, Hyaluronic acids like Restylane and Juvederm Ultra are best for the lips. They are also great for the nasolabial folds but the nasolabial folds can also be injected with Radiesse if they are very deep.
