Do any less invasive facelift techniques actually work?
The strength of a facelift comes from tightening the tissue underneath the skin in the face. Many of these less invasive facelift techniques such as the thread lift, Y-lift, lifestyle lift, etc. don’t effectively accomplish this goal. Many patients that have had a less invasive facelift technique find that the results are not long lasting. A facelift result can typically last 8-10 years or longer before a revision may be needed. These minimally invasive facelift techniques may work, but overall the results will not last as long as a facelift.
