I’m from Washington, D.C., and I would love to get some fillers in my face but I have never been good with shots. Is there any way to put me under or sedate me for the procedure?
Answer:
Most of the fillers today have numbing medication mixed into the filler, making the injection well tolerated by most patients. In our greater Washington DC offices, we offer a topical numbing cream that can also be used prior to any injections. Sedation or general anesthesia has its own associated risks and costs and I wouldn’t recommend it for a filler injections.
