Question: How precise is the digital imaging software you use in terms of demonstrating to patients what their new nose will look like after rhinoplasty? I’m considering a nose job and I really want a very good representation of what my end result will be before going through with the procedure.
Answer: I do my own computer imaging for rhinoplasty so it’s as accurate as it can humanly be but it’s a road map and not a precise depiction of the post rhinoplasty results. You should not end up with a drastically different nose after your nose job with me but no one can control how you heal so there will be some slight variations. Often times the results are better than the digital imaging but again essentially it’s the same nose most often. Imaging is a discussion and diagnosis tool and not a marketing or “selling tool.” You can see some samples here: http://www.virginiarhinoplasty.com/vfps-imaging.html
