Is there ever too much scar tissue in the nose that revision rhinoplasty can’t be performed?
Scar tissue is always in the nose after any rhinoplasty. Scar tissue takes 2-3 years to “mature” and mold and form. Sometimes there is too much and steroid injections are needed. Removal of scar tissue may lead to more scar tissue. It is a complex issue and each nose needs to be treated individually.
