I have a bump on the bridge of my nose and recently learned that Radiesse can be used to smooth out the bumps and shape of my nose. Do you perform this procedure?
Fillers can be used as a temporary “fix” if there is a small hump positioned low on the bridge. Radiesse or Restylane can be injected above and below the hump to create a smooth profile. It is a temporary fix and does not replace a well performed rhinoplasty. Not many patients are also a candidate for such a procedure. Many “surgeons” performing such procedures are not true rhinoplasty surgeons and offer this “no down time” procedure as a poor alternative to a proper rhinoplasty. I only recommend this procedure in a very small portion of patients and only as a temporary fix.
