Question: I had a bad nose job last year and have hated my nose ever since. I am worried that surgery in the same area could really damage my face. Should I wait longer to have you perform rhinoplasty and fix my nose?
Answer: I tell patients to wait at least one year before fixing a bad nose job. Unfortunately I have seen many patients who come to me for revision Rhinoplasty who have had 3 or more nose jobs within a few months of each other! That is just pure negligence in most situations. One year is a good waiting period but there is nothing wrong with waiting longer if you want. Most patients just want to get the revision done and improve their nose and move on with their lives especially if you are walking around with a nose you hate for 12 months.
