Dr Naderi
I had an acident just a few days a go where a dor banged into my face and my glasses cut my nose, the dr at the hospital has told me that there will be scaring I just feel sick to my stomach when i look at my face it is bothering me so much that I will have a scar. The face is a part of your body that everybody looks at. Is there a way to sort this out.
How much would this cost me?
How long will this take to be done and howlong would it be before I see a result.
Are your consultations free?
Answer:
Hi
I hope the doctor at the hospital called a plastic surgeon to close your wound or at least sutured the laceration for you. At this point removing the sutures in time so they do not leave marks is important. Once skin is cut there will always be a scar but there are things that can be done to minimize the appearance of the scar. Keeping the area clean and scab-free is imporant as is keeping the area moist with antibiotic ointment or even vaseline ointment. Alternatively, for clean lacerations I sometimes prefer using a special medical tape.
If you would like to come in for me to see you please call my office at 703-406-2444.
The consultation can be billed through your insurance or if you do not have insurance then my staff can tell you what the fee is for the consultation. My cosmetic consultations for cosmetic surgery or procedures used to be free but every cosmetic consultation is $100 starting July 1st 2011. This fee will apply towards your eventual surgery, procedure or injections. If you decide not to have any cosmetic procedures, you will still have gained lots of additional knowledge and information by taking advantage of the expertise of a Facial Plastic Surgeon and a face specialist. You will never be pressured into any procedure and there is never a sale’s pitch at The Naderi Center. This is a physician’s office with integrity and compassion and the consult fee is simply for the evaluation and treatment options and information gained by you.
