The procedures may be performed with general anesthesia or MAC (monitored anesthesia care).
Q - How is the neck lift performed?
For the neck lift, hidden incisions are made within the hairline and inside of the ear for women or in front of the ear for men. To provide the most natural and long-lasting results without a “pulled-back” appearance, Dr. Naderi performs a modified composite lift with SMAS elevation and imbrication, along with platysma suture corset tightening (plication) and liposuction.

For neck liposuction, a very small and hidden incision is made under the chin. Liposuction is then used to gently remove excess fat.
Q - How is submentoplasty performed?
For submentoplasty, a small and well-concealed “T”’ incision is made under the chin and then extra skin and fat are removed.

The neck lift can be completed in about two hours, neck liposuction in about thirty minutes, and submentoplasty in about forty-five minutes to an hour.
